Jalapushpa

The present proposal is focused on the development of an effective wound healing formulation (a herbal vanishing cream) with species of Biophytum as the major medicinal herb along with two other medicinal plants  as minor sources  and some other harmless and inert chemical ingredients with specific activity in enhancing the wound healing process. It is expected that the synergistic activity of all the ingredients will particularly  act on different wound healing sequential steps such as inflammation, proliferation and remodelling and therefore  it will be effective in the treatment of wounds, prevention of scar formation, and promotion of hair regrowth in the wound area.
